BRIDGET KIMMEL, founder I am a marketing communications expert with 18+ years of corporate and agency public relations, corporate communications, and freelance and corporate consulting experience. I started my writing and communications career at the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia, where I conducted media relations for world renowned dignitaries. I then gained valuable agency experience at Earle Palmer Brown - Philadelphia's largest PR and advertising agency at the time, where my clients included Omni Hotels corporate, CoreStates Bank, the Ironman Triathlon, and Just Born Candies. I then went to the corporate side, joining Rosenbluth International, a global corporate travel management company with 5,000 employees. There, I first managed all employee and client communications, then I went on to run the corporate communications department - having responsibility for all marketing communications worldwide, including advertising, marketing collateral, public relations, web site, Intranet, and events. I also advised senior management in the development of positioning for key industry issues, and led the communications effort for several acquisitions. In 2000, I joined ThruPoint - a global network technology consulting organization, where I had responsibility for both managing and executing all internal and external marketing communications, including PR, marketing collateral, web site, and events. Again, I had very close contact with the CEO and other top executives and was involved in all key internal and external announcements. Also while at ThruPoint I served as a senior consultant to some of our Fortune 500 clients - working with IT and Marketing executives to identify marketing communications needs of large-scale IT projects, then developing and executing communications programs that integrated with the planning, development, and implementation of one or multiple projects. From ThruPoint I joined DecisionOne, a leading independent technology support company. Again, I had responsibility for internal and external corporate marketing communications, including sales collateral, web site, internal newsletters, CEO communications, and client communications. After leaving DecisionOne, I founded BRIDGE COMMUNICATIONS to bring my broad and varied experiences to bear to help businesses of all sizes bridge the gap to their various audiences.
